Bill Reed Voice Studio proudly presents a musical theater audition workshop with Burlington’s own Kate Wetherhead. Kate, a graduate of Burlington High School and a former student of Bill Reed in Vermont and at The Circle in the Square Theatre School in New York City, was a member of the original cast of the Broadway production of Legally Blond: The Musical. Currently, she is the co-creator, writer and star of the critically acclaimed on line sitcom, Submissions Only.
The event is open to the public, and performers may register as a participant or as an auditor. Participants will come prepared with a musical theatre song selection and will have the opportunity to perform for Kate and then be coached by her. Auditors will participate in group activities and observe the workshop. In addition, there will be a question and answer period. Both participants and auditors may sign up for any/all of the workshop sessions and are encouraged to attend all three. If you intend to be a participant, please contact us in advance to reserve your spot as we have limited space available.
A special message from Kate –
I’m so excited to share some of my ‘Legally Blonde’ experiences with performers in my home state! This workshop is going to be a lot of fun.
