Andrew is a native son of Shelburne, Vermont and the natural son of Toby and Kathryn. Andrew went to Hobart College to play football but quickly found his real passion while performing with the improv ensemble It Might Be Funny. He spent his second semester Junior year in Chicago, taking part in the Comedy Studies program through Columbia College and The Second City. After college he won the 2010 Higher Ground Comedy Battle in Vermont before moving back to Chicago. Andrew has trained at many different theaters in Chicago and completed The Second City Conservatory, The Second City Musical Improv Conservatory, and the iO Training Center. He has performed improv with many great groups including Baby Wants Candy, The Second City Training Center’s Musical Improv House Ensemble: Infinite Sundaes, Birthday Girl (iO), Storytown (iO), and The Grrr (The Playground Theater). He has also been lucky to perform improv in festivals and shows from New York City to San Francisco. Andrew is currently performing sketch and improv comedy with The Second City aboard the Norwegian Cruise Lines “Norwegian Dawn”. Andrew will be in an Off-Broadway improv musical – Blank! The Musical. It will be at New World Stages running from 11/1/14 thru 12/14/14.
